Community Partnerships

Flint Hills Resources partnership with the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts to put on one of the country’s largest and longest standing event of its kind has touched generations. Since its inception, more than one million people have attended, including more than 25,000 students and teachers each year.

For 32 years, Flint Hills has been the title sponsor of Fiesta de los Niños, which raises close to $1 million annually for Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. Flint Hills employees are deeply involved with the event, with employee volunteers providing staffing year after year.

Environmental Stewardship

Flint Hills Resources has supported the work of Ducks Unlimited since 1985. The nonprofit works in all 50 states to preserve and protect natural habitats for waterfowl, wildlife and people. Recently, Flint Hills eclipsed $1.5 million in total giving to the organization. We are among Ducks Unlimited’s longest-standing corporate supporters.

Providing training to law enforcement and public safety responders

Safety

Through its Helping Heroes program, Flint Hills Resources provides mutual aid industrial fire trainings to fire departments and other first responders, and provides grants for training, education and life-saving equipment to fire departments and emergency responders in nearby communities.
